Armenians around the world are commemorating the 95th anniversary of what has become known as the Armenian Holocaust. THE LARK FARM is the first high-profile film to deal with the Armenian genocide. More than a million Armenians living in the Ottoman Empire were killed between 1915 and 1917. The fact that the genocide is still such a politically charged question for Turkey has kept it off Hollywood development lists, despite what many believe was a precursor to the Jewish Holocaust during WWII.
